5.3.2 Order Service, Paying for an Order, Payment Info Screen

Processing a payment/refund is handled with ease and flexibility in this window. Twelve tender types are accepted here: Cash, US Cash, Debit, Check, VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Novus, Credit, Traveler's Check, and US Traveler's Check.

To Process a Payment/Return

1. Select the tender identified on the tabs.
2. The remaining balance owing on the order is displayed in red.
3. Fill in the amount to be transacted in the "Amount Received" box. If the customer is paying in US Dollars, select "US. Dollars" from the drop-down list. The "Currency Used" drop-down list is removed if the exchange is US-to-US (domestic) or the rates equals 1 or 0.
4. Click [Apply Tender]
5. Go to Step 1 for a different tender or Step 3 for another amount.
6. Click [Ok] to save all transactions or [Cancel] to discard an start over.

OPEN SALE orders become PAID; OPEN REFUND orders become REFUNDED.

ID Numbers are NOT retained. It is recommended that you verify payment tender type before exiting this window. If you exit this window before verifying the payment tender types the program will disallow changes to the tender types.
