6.1. Customer Service, Customer History

The Customer History Window details all purchases and referrals pertaining to the currently selected customer. A wealth of information is supplied in this dialog. Amazingly enough, all this data is conveniently arranged in a compact, non-obtrusive layout.

Customer Info

Displays the name and phone number of the selected customer.

Open/Close Latch

Press it once to reduce the window to about 50% of its full size, showing only the Customer Information and Products/Service tree. Press it again to return the window to its full size. This operates much like the Minimize/Restore buttons in Windows.

Products/Services Tree

Lists all orders for the customer by date in a hierarchical tree layout. Click the "+" to expand the order to view its contained products and/or Services. Click the "-" to collapse the chosen branch.

Order Info

When an order is selected, the purchase information for the selected order will appear to the right of the Products/Service tree. This display will be hidden when the Latch is closed.

Gift Certificates Bought

Below the Order Info box is a listing of all gift certificates purchased on the selected order. Only the certificates for one order will be listed.

Referrals

If you click the "Referral" tab, the display will change to a list of all the orders that this customer has referred.

Purchases to Date

Below the Products/Service tree is the net value of all orders purchased and refunded.
