The Event Log, the only automated system of the Synchronizer Service, monitors eight key features:

Credit Note and Points Expiration
- credit notes or points expiring within one year of the current date
Gift Certificate Expiration
- certificates expiring with the prescribed period
Mailer Expiration
- mail-outs that are expiring within 30 days
Advanced Mail-outs
- similar in function to the Birthday and Anniversary Log (BAL)
Inventory State
- products that are at the Minimum Stock Allowance (MSA), below the MSA, or have run out
Gift Certificate Consistency
- matches Orphaned and Outstanding gift certificates
Data Record Cleanup
- records that are missing critical pieces of data such as customer names
Aging Orders
- unpaid (not OPEN SALE/OPEN REFUND) orders older than 30 days

Performing actions

Depending on the event, you execute specific actions on the selected records. Be careful that these actions are final!

Changing the Alarm date

The Synchronizer will run the Event Log at a certain time as specified in the Maintenance Service, under Synchronizer. This date is updated on the status bar at the bottom of the Work Area.
